You pretty much need to look at them together to see. It will depend on the undertones … “ivory” tends to have warm undertones while “white” is usually cool (bluish undertones). “Natural white” is typically creamy and slightly warm – it might complement the ivory, but it might also make it look dingy. Accessories often aren’t a 100% perfect match to the gown, you just need to make sure they have complementary undertones.

Is there a way that you can look at the flower next to an ivory gown (sample, etc.) by the same manufacturer, even if it’s not exactly the same dress?

Hmm … if it’s second-hand, how expensive is it? If it’s affordable enough to be worth the risk, or if you think you’d be able to re-sell it if you ended up not wearing it, it’s probably smart to go ahead and buy it. Or, could you ask the seller to meet you somewhere that you could look at it next to an ivory gown? Would you be able to get a swatch of ivory fabric from the shop/manufacturer? etc.

I’m thinking it would work. How expensive is it. Just go for it.
