lemonsandlife71 :  People who shame others’ rings are simply jealous because they didn’t get the ring they wanted. You love your ring right?

I have to admit, snowflake settings were high on my mind when looking at rings (and still are, I’m currently looking for my forever ring <3) so when I saw yours my jaw dropped.  Utterly STUNNING!!!!!!!!

But honestly, my opinion doesn’t matter. Do YOU love it? Do YOU smile the biggest smile every time you see it? Is it everything you dreamed of and more?  That’s what’s important.

I guarantee you, it is an absolutely gorgeous ring, and who cares if others think you ripped off a Zales design? My ring is a ripoff of literally every other six prong 2-tone solitaire because it’s not unique. Yours IS! And that is SO COOL!!!!

Good luck, bee!

What a rotten thing to do.

I have never felt the need to criticise, be mean about or shame someone for their engagement ring. They obviously aren’t happy in their own lives if they have to stoop to something like that for their jollies.

lemonsandlife71 :  You have no reason to feel embarrassed Bee. I think the lesson to be learned here Bee is your mother’s. She joined a ring shaming site (?!) and then sees her daughter’s ring being shamed. I hope she’ll examine her own conscience for joining such a mean, petty site and sees how it feels when someone she loves becomes the target. Suddenly I’ll bet it didn’t seem so harmless to her….

lemonsandlife71 :  That is beautiful…. and it’s not like the enchanted collection is the ONLY snowflake style ring out there, etsy has a TON .. I just don’t get why people should ever have an opinion on what people choose to wear in any aspect.. that’s what makes us unique!

Your ring is beautiful! From the screenshot it looks people are thinking you just bought a zales ring and are trying to pass it off as custom? Thats what I thought at least.

lemonsandlife71 :  I think your ring is beautiful! Did you post it on Reddit too? I think I saw it last night when I was scrolling through…People on Reddit and Imgur especially can be cruel – there’s a good chance it wasn’t one of your Facebook friends who posted it.  People’s behavior says more about them than it does you or your ring.

People really need to get more hobbies if they spend their time shaming peoples engagement rings.

lemonsandlife71 :  Sorry you’re dealing with that. There was no reason for your mom to send that to you. Sounds like this is an internet mean girl group; same rules apply as on the playground: people who make fun of other people are often doing it because they’re insecure. You’ve got a ring you love and it was given to you by someone you love. Forget the internet bullies and enjoy all the good things you have!

I dont know that the people on these sites are jealous, but I can guarantee that a lot of them are unhappy and insecure. Fuck the internet and wear your beautiful ring IRL.

People will say mean things or “shame” others when they are insecure about themselves. Your ring is beautiful. It’s sad that people feel the need to create a ring shaming site, and then other people perpetuate it by posting pictures to it??? Sounds like they have too much negative time on their hands. I’m so sorry this happened to you. But your ring is FANTASTIC!!

Its a ring shaming site that you and your mom are in/were in. Why did you expect to be safe from the same criticism? If you’re that sensitive don’t join SHAMING groups. Sure, your mom could have defended some ring in the past but the point of a ring shaming group IS to ridicule other people. You are not exempt.

How pathetic and boring does one’s life have to be that they get excitement over posting hate over rings they don’t like? Like literally, they need to get an actual hobby. Normal mature people don’t do this, I might not like one’s ring but it would honestly take out more energy than I would want to, to tell them that.
