It doesn’t matter one bit what other people think. Only you. If you love it, who cares what other people think.
I wear a ring that is probably considered a cocktail ring on my wedding ring finger because I love the color of the sapphire. I don’t think I could find a prettier blue sapphire. I have looked for a really long time.
I read some comments about my ring on another website that my ring is a ‘crime against sapphires’ and that it looks like costume jewelry and I don’t mind what people say because not everyone has the same tastes and all that matters is that I love it.
So stop caring what people think. Life is so much better when you stop caring about others opinions.

I think it looks nice, but it really doesn’t matter what I or anyone else thinks about your ring.

Oh honey, your ring is gorgeous and clearly an engagement ring!
I also have an unusual ring and my grandmother called it a cocktail ring too. Then I let her try it on and she ran to my grandfather and said “look at her beautiful engagement ring!”
As long as you love it that’s all that matters.

Looks cocktail to me, sorry.

thelorimarie : anyone who calls your ring a cocktail ring just finds it big. From Google “A cocktail ring is a piece of jewelry that is larger than normal rings and is designed to attract attention with its size” when I searched “define cocktail ring”

100% an engagement ring. No question about it

nykkee : I agree with nykkee. A ring is considered a cocktail ring because it’s big and maybe a little flashy. Maybe she meant it as a compliment of sorts?

thelorimarie : I’ve been admiring all the bees engagment rings for a couple of months now (not yet engaged myself) and yours is definitely gorgeous. Rock that beauty!

futuremrsfraser : I’m going to add to my post. When I was looking at rings before getting engaged I wanted a solid center stone with a halo. I saw some cluster rings and I didnt really like the look of them. When I got mine I was over the moon, it was so pretty! And it doesnt even really look like a cluster unless you are close up. Plus my fiance chose it all by himself and bought it and suprised me. I love it because it is beautiful, but also because it’s what he chose out of love for me.

So sparkly and gorgeous! I have an antique cluster ring from my grandmother and I love it. I have never heard of the term ‘cocktail ring’ but I have no clue why they wouldn’t think that was an engagement ring. I mean it’s a sparkly diamond ring on your wedding ring finger sooo…

For what it’s worth, I think your ring is gorgeous.

Dunno what sort of fuckwit can’t see that a sparkly ring worn on the LH ring finger is likely to be an engagement ring…..

thelorimarie : ummm that is clearly an engagement ring to me, people are just rude.
