I am torn, my something new is my veil that I am making. My something borrowed is my FI’s grandparents wedding bands, I plan on putting them on a chain and wearing them as a necklace since they are the longest married couple I know. My something old is something from my grandma, we are still debating what I will snag from her 🙂 She is a wonderful lady! My something blue is what I am torn on. I am thinking maybe a blue feather? Since my Fiance bought me a bunch of my favorite games Harvest Moon, and in the game you propose by presenting your beloved with a a blue feather….my eyes are blue but I don’t think that counts. My garter will be gold, and my flowers are white and pink with a few spots of yellow. My wedding colors are pink and gold so blue is hard to work in. I want to do something quirky for the blue since the something blue is supposed to represent you, with the old representing family, borrowed meaning friendship, new representing the future. Oh! And I got a sixpence replica from a gift store at Jamestown. I assume any colonial historic gift stores have replica type things to.
But I am so torn on the something blue! Any ideas ladies? Feel free to share your something blue as well.
What did you lovely ladies work in for something blue?

Mine was my garter. I did an aqua blue to match my wedding colors and stitched a little horseshoe on it for good luck.
I think the feather is an adorable idea. I heart Harvest Moon.

Maybe if you had your florist incorporate a blue feather into your bouquet????

I’m getting these little appliques for the bottom of my shoes (hot pink) that are blue rhinestones and one says “I” and the other says “DO”. It makes really cute pics. They stick to the arch part of the shoe! They are less than $5! Here’s a pic, there are tons of sellers on the Internet if you Google it! 🙂 http://www.advantagebridal.com/i-do-shoe-applique-by-mindy-weiss-rhinestone-sticker.html

I love the idea of putting a blue feather in your bouquet (or tucking it in your garter? That might be itchy) since that has meaning to you and your Fiance.
I’m doing shoes (and I’m a shoe girl, so I guess mine works with representing myself!)

Well seeing as one of my wedding colors is blue, I have a lot of blue: my garter, my shoes, my jewelry: and that is just the stuff I am wearing on me.
