I’m having the seamstress sew our wedding date in blue thread, hidden in my dress. Totally stole that from Pinterest. 🙂

MrsD_tobe23:  i gave up with the something blue. I will just wear blue underwear. If anyone ask to see well there will be a charge.

MrsD_tobe23:  Embroider a blue heart  inside your dress (not so personal as your name and date if oyu plan to sell your dress), add a blue charm or blue ribbon to your bouquet, blue pedicure, blue lingerie, blue in your jewelry, blue handkerchief, write your vows on a blue card, blue shoes, tuck a blue brooch in your  bouquet, have a blue sole added to your shoes

Attach a lucky penny and something blue to a pin inside your dress.

Blue underwear would be fun and covert. A few years ago my parents gave me a sapphire pendant with a diamond halo, so I’ll probably wear that.

Blue is my favourite colour, so I had plenty of it. I wore blue underwear, blue tights, blue heels, an iolite bracelet and my engament ring, necklace and earrings had sapphires in them. I also had a blue shawl and navy wool cape to keep me warm (we got married in January in a cold climate so needed to take that into account too).

You could also think of doing a very very light shade of blue so that it doesn’t stand out as much as a royal or true blue. My sister gave me a bracelet like the one below to have as my someting blue. I think it’s easy to match without standing out too much. Also if you are opposed to your shoes, you could do just the bottom of the shoes maybe so it doesn’t take away from your look but its cute for pictures. Best of luck!

If I don’t think of anything else, I’m going to get a hanky panky something blue thong. It’s super cute.

Esty has a bunch of patches you can get to have sewn into your dress.  I’m going to have one sewn towards the bottom of my dress to I can lift the hem to show it in a picture.  Here’s some:

Right before I walked down the aisle a good friend of ours asked if I had something old, new, borrowed and blue. I told her my boots were old and my dress was new but that was it. She ‘lent’ me a blue pen that I stuck in my boot. I thought it was very sweet of her. Haha

I had planned on underwear and then went with another pair at the last second because I was afraid the blue ones would give me a wedgie all day lol. I decided that having blue eyes exempted me from needing anything else blue! Plus my aunt gave me an actual six-pence to put in my shoe so I felt ahead of the game since most people usually skip that part of the poem.

MrsD_tobe23:  A friend did blue toe nail polish, which I’ve thought about doing since I’ll be wearing close toed shoes.  I also just bought a custom made blue thong what has “Mrs. XXX” on it 🙂
