a pearl necklace from my grandmother. But here’s the kicker…
It has been on the Oprah show!!
My grandfather is a jeweler and was the president of the Illinois Jewelers Association about 10 years ago. That year Oprah called and asked him to participate in a Christmas special, to show the difference between real and fake pearls…and they used my grandmothers string.
So my pearls are borrowed, and kinda famous!

I have no idea either. I have been struggling with this. I really don’t have something old, borrowed, or blue tackled yet. I think I may add the blue rhinestone initials and date to the bottom of my shoes like other brides have done. UGH.

My something borrowed is my FMIL’s garter from her own wedding. It also happens to be blue and old, too!
