I borrowed jewelry from my Mother-In-Law for my wedding.

I’m stuck on the same thing! Maybe a hair pin or something?

Same here, still need the somthing borrowed.  I may just attach something to my bouquet last minute.

Something for the bouquet is a good idea.  Does borrowing something for the reception count (that would not be worn)?

I need something borrowed & something old. FI’s grandmother gave me a strand of pearls that I might wrap around my bouquet but I don’t want anything to happen to them.

I am having trouble with this one as well.

  • Something old: Grandma’s baptism ring
  • Something new: Dress, veil, shoes, etc
  • Something blue: My garter will have blue lace

I think I may try to borrow a pair of chandelier earrings from my mother or one of my girlfriends…but other than that, I’m at a loss!

My sister pulled off one of her rings and shoved it down the front of my dress as we were getting ready to head off down the aisle. I wasn’t sure that “borrowing” something from my mom counted since I use her stuff all the time anyway…

New, I’m counting the dress.

Old, I’m going to ask my mom if she had a wedding dress (city hall marriage) and if she did then I might make a hankerchief out of it, because I know none of us kids can wear her dress.

Borrowed, I’m thinking about grabbing a wooden spoon from FMIL’s kitchen for my bouquet. It might not look too pretty, but it definitely comes from a happily married couple.

Blue, I’m not sure yet, but considering our colors are blue/green I’m sure I can figure something out.

@toffee I kinda love the wooden spoon idea 😉

For me:

Old: Cameo Brooch on bouquet

New: Dress 😀

Borrowed: hmmm>>>>this is my ?? too!!!

Blue: Garter
