Well I live in Ontario Canada, and today was pretty hot. It usually is all summer, but today was even more. It was like 38 Celcius with humidity it felt like 45 degrees.
I was driving to work, and on the radio, the DJ said in Miami it was only 31.
I just find it funny how sometimes Canada gets this bad rep for being cold alll the time.
For all you Americanos out there, 38 Celsius = 100F and 45 = 113

How about you send me some heat, and I’ll send you some clouds?!
You can send some of those 38 degrees our way…we only have about 10-15 of them I’m still waiting for summer to start!
Hehe but yes, we definitely don’t live in igloos!

Haha ya. I live in Florida, and we’re cooler than most places north of us right now.
@MademoiselleL:I’ll trade you a real summer for a real winter! lol. Our seasons are: hot & not-as-hot.

Agreed! It was so hot today I could barely move.

@thehoneybear: our seasons are almost-winter, winter, still-winter, and summer.

@Gingersnap: haha you are so right… we go from one extreme to the other!

It was 103 today in Upstate, NY. I’ve never been more fortunate for a centrally air conditioned office and home in my entire life. When I went out to the car after work today, it was so hot that it was hard to breathe. I couldn’t touch anything without burning myself! That’s just f’ing nuts!
The only “good” thing about NY (or the NE in general) is that we truly get to experience each season. Sure, winter lasts wayyy longer than I’d like it to but we still have a dedicated spring, summer and fall.

My car temp was 103 degrees AFTER dinner tonight! Ugh! I’m scared our AC is going to freeze over!

Yea it’s been hot as hell down here (Miami) lately. I fry when I get in my car even with the windsheild protector and cracking my windows. It’s hard to imagine any place up north having an equal argument. I saw a friend from Chicago complain on FB the other day about the heat and thought, “pshh…try living in South Florida”.
I like the heat and humidity though…good for the skin and I dunno why but sweating makes me feel good…like I worked out (I don’t work out lol).

@MrsLongcoatPeacoat: Ugh, I know. I was outside a few minutes ago and my car temp still says 99. It was 10:20PM at that time. On my way home from work tonight = 111.
I walked out of my apartment to go to work this morning (around 7:30AM) and my glasses fogged up before I finished locking the door.

@MissHighHeel: Seriously it’s not normal Vancouver summer weather! We look forward to these two months – they should not be cold and rainy! I am literally still wearing sweaters and boots.
I’m calling it “July-tober”.

I can deal with heat…it’s the level 2 drought we’re dealing with in San Antonio (and in a lot of Texas in general) that sucks big time. They’re considering it a natural disaster.
