I love the sleeves. I think they look great and there is nothing amiss at all. I wouldn’t complicate your look with a  belt.

KapOct18:  First of all, GORGEOUS! Second of all…I agree that the sleeves will look better when fitted around the forearms. I say no sash but that’s just my taste. The dress is so beautiful on you and it has lovely detail and the sleeves are kind of the “wow” point so no need to add more.

I’m also wondering if you could add something across the bust like a sheer piece (don’t know what it’s called) that attach the sleeves? I’ll see if I can find a picture of what I’m talking about lol

Something like this is what I was talking about! I think it’s the difference in material with the sleeves and the dress that I’m noticing and this piece makes it flow more?

These are just ideas btw and my own personal tastes lol. Your dress is lovely as is and you look FABULOUS in it!

Yes, I agree with eveyone that when they are tightened it will look 100% better. I also agree with a pp who suggested making them a tad shorter too, and perhaps adding  a little lace at the  join on the shoulder . I wonder too if the shoulder join was at more of an angle , sloping away out  to your shoulder/arm , rather than straight  down  from the top of your shoulder  if I am making sense …

I don’t think  you need a sash or belt, it would spoil the lovely line you have got  going there !

Everyone basically said it. Beautiful dress on you and after alterations to the sleeves it will be perfect. Personally i hear many who say no sashes make your waist appear smaller but its quite the opposite. A belt defines the waist drawing your eye to the smallest part of your body, making the sash give an illusion of a smaller waist. Just how a v-neck top elongates you and makes you appear taller. Particularly in your case you have curves and the gown truly doesnt need the sash at all. Your chest and hip area are equivalent and showing how small your waist is in comparison. The dress does look great on you. You made a great selection. We have to know what individually works for us and you nailed it.

I agree w/ pp and suggest adding a little more lace details to the sleeves, so it has a similar amount that the dress has.  They look great though, your dress is beautiful!
