Have you lost weight?  I do see the difference although you look great in both.  Was the first one just corset or were their clips also?  I think if you show the seamstress the pics she could probably tighten it up some more?  Or maybe you could add cups?

I wasn’t going to mention it since you sounded happy with the alterations. The top doesn’t look right to me,almost as if it should be lowered a bit and made tighter. The seams for the bustline aren’t lining up somehow, and the bodice isn’t laying flat enough. The crinoline is also giving you a dent at the waist and making it stick out farther than before.

Were you wearing a bra? A longline strapless may help as well as her lacing it tighter closer to the bottom.

Personal question and possibly Too Much Information: are you wearing a different bra?

To be honest, I prefer the second look (don’t shoot me!)

I would recommend a bra for sure, maybe take those puppies up and out a little 🙂

It’s lace back, right?

At the salons they always lace you in until you can’t breathe, because you see your tiny waist and are like “this dress will make my life perfecccccccccccccct!” and buy it. That or they know how to lace them properly 😉

Who laced it at the fitting? It really just looks like it isn’t laced up well to me.

There is something weird gong on at the bottom of the bodice.  It should lay flat and it looks like its puckered up on the sides.  If it layed flat against your body at the hips like it’s supposed to, your waist would look way smaller and give you the shape you want.

How is the halter attached? Buttoned? She can add a loop for the button to go through to lower it a little and make sure your boobs are in it where they belong before lacing it up. Right now they look like they’re below the darts, so they need to be adjusted before it’s tightened.

Moving a button or adding a loop is not a big deal to do, so I’m not sure what she’d do about charging you.

I really think you may need to lose the crinoline as I think that’s what’s causing it to not lay flat at the hips.
