Can you put some kind of jewlery in your bouquet? That’s what I’m thinking of doing?

I just recently found my FIRST COMMUNION veil from 1965 – I’m going to sew a piece of it into my wedding dress.

I have an Irish linen handkerchief that my aunt bought for me when I was little, solely for the purpose of it being my something old when I got married 🙂 I think I’m going to wrap it around my bouquet stems.

I don’t think I have a “something old” from anything significant in my life. I have my baptism dress, but I wouldn’t want to alter it because my mom is all attached. I think I am just going to wear (on my right hand) the ring SO got me when we got “engaged” way too young, haha.

What if you take a section of lace from an old dress of your mom’s/grandmother’s, if they have one, and wrap the bottom of your bouquet in it?

Jewelry from my great-grandmother, who I was very close with. I haven’t picked which pieces absolutely but I know I want to wear something of hers.

I knew someone who had their grandma’s ring sewn into the corsette part of their dress, to keep her close to heart.

Maybe a handkerchief or scarf to wrap your bouquet in? I used my DH’s deceased grandmother’s jewelry.

The person I knew had it done in her alterations – so simple but lovely for the bride, especially if you do not want to wear too much jewellery

I think I am going to wear a star sapphire ring that my parents gave me for my 21st birthday. So it’s not super old (only 7 years), but what the hey….

I’m going to put a brooch on my bouquet.
