You could even take a piece of the fabric and have it sewn to the inside over your heart.

Can you take part of the dress to wrap around your flowers? The buttons could also go around your bouquet

I’m actually using my MIL’s buttons for my bouquet, instead of using the pearl pins, I’ll be using her buttons.

I had a ring pouch made from my grandma’s dress, and my sister had her garter made from it.

You could definitely take part of her gown and sew into into the inside or outside part of her dress. You could also wrap the lace and buttons around your bouquet.

A good restoration place might be able to take the yellow out of the lace.  If so, I would consider making a mantilla veil with it.

@HisNightOwl2014:  Congratulations! That is really lovely, and so special. I’m sure you’re going to find a splendid way to incorporate elements of your grandmother’s dress. Blessings!

I took flowers off of my mom’s dress and had one pinned to my bouquet and I sewed one inside of my dress.
