    @hamobride:  I didn’t do it for my first wedding and I won’t be doing it this time either. I like the tradition, but I just can’t think of anything to borrow or anywhere to put anything blue.

    Something borrowed: my veil

    Something blue: my underwear

    something old – my fiance’s great-grandmother’s handkerchief (100+ years old) 

    something new – my dress 

    something borrowed – my fiance’s grandmother’s ring pillow

    something blue: my engagement ring (it’s a blue diamond) and my shoes (they’re baby blue)

    I did it, but not the sixpence. I only learned about it in the few days leading up to our wedding and by then it was too hard to track one down.

    Something Old: My mother’s jewellery – necklace and earrings passed down to me from my grandmother

    Something New: My wedding shoes – bought for me by my best friend’s mother

    Something Borrowed: My friend’s pearls – one of my bridesmaids gave it to me at the last minute

    Something Blue: My blue pedicure! It’s only JUST wearing off now, and I got it done for my hens day back in September…awesome pedicure or what?!
