So I was watching a tv show last night and they mentioned the rhyme:
Something old, something newSomething borrowed, something blueAnd a silver sixpence in her shoe.
And the fact that everyone misses off the silver sixpence.
Just wondering, has anyone put a coin in their shoe for luck on the day??

@CupcakeLove: I’m still worried I’m not going to have something old or borrowed. And then I’d worry what ever I put in my shoe will fall out because chances are I’m wearing a strappy sandle.

My father informed me when I got engaged that when his daughters were born he bought a silver six pence for each of us for our wedding. So, I do have one! I can’t wait to use it!!
