Is anyone doing the ‘something old, something new etc’ tradition? Curious to know what you have 9and borrowing of course!). Mine are:
Something old – my great grandmother’s wedding band which is 96 years old
Something new – I’ve bought lots of new things eg shoes, dress, underwear so I’m guessing these all come under the something new category.
Something borrowed – the wedding band described above, which was passed down to my mum.
Something blue – My jewellery has very pale blue stones, which I prefer as it’s so subtle.

I’m doing this tradition!!
Something old: I plan to pin a piece of my Nana’s (she’s 95) jewelry to my bouquet
Something new: my dress
Something borrowed: haven’t figured this one out yet
Something blue: my earrings

Both of your ideas are great!
I’m also following the tradition:
Something old: taking lace from my nana’s wedding gown and wrapping my bouquet with it, my SIL is making a hair accessory out of another piece of the dress
Something new: my dress and shoes
Something borrowed: my mother’s pearl necklace
Something blue: my underwear (has “bride” written in blue) and possibly a pedicure
