Old – I am hoping to get my great grandmother’s ring set and wear it on my right hand hopefully with a saphire to hit the something blue as well.

New – Dress, shoes, pretty much everything I am wearing

Borrowed – the lace from my mother’s wedding dress will be used for my garter

I used my Vavo’s rosary which was borrowed, blue, and old.  I also attached my Papa’s wedding ring to it, I liked having both of them there with me on our day.  My Papa passed a few years ago and my Vavo actually suffered a stroke the week before we got married, ended up leaving right after the wedding to spend some time with  her in hospice before she passed as well.  My new was just some earrings I bought πŸ™‚

Old: My late grandmother’s wedding ring, which I wore on my right hand (and got to keep, I now wear it on my right hand when I feel I could use a little “luck”)

New: Dress and most other things, obviously

Borrowed: My mother’s pearls that she wore on her wedding day. She also had these passed down to her from her mother (same grandmother whose “old” ring it was)

Blue: My shoes and undies…and bouquet (blue was my wedding color so I had planned on wearing blue shoes and holding blue flowers regardless!)

I actually didn’t PLAN any of these, it just happened by accident πŸ™‚

@miss.wiggums:  My mom’s dress is straight out of the 70’s.  A heavy cotton/polyester blend that has long sleeves and is rather yellow.  I tried it on just to see if I could fit in it, I really thought my mom was much smaller than I, but it fit excpet I have wider shoulders but I got super hot in like 5 minutes….it was really funny.  But she has been divorced for 25+ years so she did not care if I took some 70’s lace (literally think hippy daisy) off the dress.

My something old was this gold nugget pin I attached to my brooch bouquet. It was worn by my mother on her wedding day and my grandmother. It’s very special.

My something new was my earrings. I didn’t have the photographer photograph them though. They weren’t that important to me.
