my mom just gifted me a gorgous ring that was my great grandmother’s. she and my grandmother both wore this as their “something old” to their weddings and it got me thinking about the tradition. my wedding is in 2 weeks and i can’t think of what i’d like to wear for the rest of the ‘something’s . what did you do/are you doing?

My old and borrowed was my mom’s gold angel pin her grandmother gave her when she got married to my dad. I actually still have it but we want my sisters to wear it when they get married.
My new was pretty much everything
I forgot to get something blue but everyone was like “you’re eyes and DH’s eyes are blue, you sisters wore blue, and you were married on the beach” so I guess that counts…

@dovelovesfalcon: Not totally sure yet since it’s far out… something old: my grandmother and mother’s wedding dress lace wrapped around my bouquet; something new: my dress; something borrowed: family jewelery; something blue: New England Patriots garter! (FI wanted the garter, he’s gonna throw it on a football for the garter toss!!! So awesome!)
