rasmus:  I somewhat did this, but not the sixpence.

Old: garter (made from my mom’s wedding dress), and a necklace my Grandma always wore was on my bouquet

New: Dress/jewelry

Borrowed: I didn’t wear it, but I borrowed a basket from an aunt and uncle for our cards. I couldn’t think of anything to borrow to wear.

Blue: shoes

I’ll have a new dress, my engagement ring is a blue sapphire, and my wedding ring is a 120 year old family heirloom, so I just need to find something borrowed!  Maybe my mom will lend me a bracelet or something.

New: Dress & veil

Blue: My engagement ring is a sapphire

Old: I’m trying to figure out if there’s a way to incorporate an old hymal my great-grandmother left me that apparently a bunch of women in our family carried down the aisle. I’m not carrying it down the aisle (not my thing) but I might find a way to pin my favorite hymn from it to my bouquet?

Borrowed: Not sure yet!

Old- going to wear a bracelt of my grand, others.  Never knew her, and have no living family with whom I am close, but the fact it was hers means something.

new- my dress

borrowed – I asked FIs mom if I could borrow a necklace so I’d have something from his side of the family, and she is letting me borrow a pearl necklace that was his grandmothers, along with matching earrings

blue- my e-ring is an aquamarine, and so will the stones in the wedding band be, be I want to get a hanker he if or something small with the wedding date embroidered on it.  Fis mom insisted on getting me a blue garter even though we aren’t doing a garter toss, so I’ve got that in case

sixpence- I got two 2016 pennies off Etsy, stamped with out initials and wedding date for us both to have in us.  I kinda want Fiance to have his own old new borrowed blue, cuz I figure if it’s lucky for the bride to do it, it may be twice as lucky if the groom does, too?

Old: A lavender lace doily made by my great-grandmother was wrapped around my bouquet.

New: A silver anklet gifted to me by my aunt the day before the wedding.

Borrowed: 3 stacking rings from my BFF,  I had a few rings I wanted to wear so I wore the stack separated as midi rings.

Blue: DH’s Best Lady got a handkerchief embroidered with our wedding date and a little blue heart.

Silver Sixpence: When my now SIL got married (a month before us) I had gifted her a silver sixpence and she gifted it back to me for ours. DH’s Best Lady had also ordered one for me but the shipping had a big delay and it didn’t arrive till the week after the wedding.
