THE RING JUST ARRIVED!!!
In all my time in the hive I have never seen anything about his ring. Maybe I miss these posts and they are just far and few between. But in my excitement of just receiving his bling I had to post.
I ordered it online…like I tend to do for a lot of things. It’s always scary doing so, especially when spending so much money. BUT I triple <3 it. I can’t wait to get home and show him.
It cost a little over $500. It is 10K White gold and the 10 diamonds weigh 1/4k. Here is the link to where I ordered it.
Show us your SO’s ring, tell us what it is made of and how much you paid.

@Sweet.Sugar.Rose: My Fiance was insistent on getting gold. Even after all the great things we have heard about other materials, he wasn’t having it.

Wow, beautiful! My Fiance was the same way. He wanted white gold, but I KNOW he will scratch it. He still wants his diamonds and gemstones, but he has finally agreed on Tungsten!

Darling Husband has two.
One is 5mm platinum band and was about $1,000. Platinum is expensive, but he wanted our ring metals to match.
His “every day” ring is a $15 titanium band from amazon.com!

@KatNYC2011: Yes I’ve entertained the idea of him having two rings too. He is a restaurant manager so it’s not as bad as say a shop worker, but it still makes me nervous. He said he’ll just hang the ring off his chain, that he wears everday, when he is at work. But we did go with 10K gold becuase it’s harder.

FH debated back and forth on the metal type and finally went with white gold. It was about $600.:

@knvprincess143: DH works with computers on a daily basis (i.e. hands in computers with sharp edges etc) and he plays with his ring to no end. I can’t tell you how many times he’s dropped it or almost dropped it while we’re out at restaurants etc.
It makes me feel better that he wears the $15 most of the time because that one is inexpensive to replace!

My husbands ring is tungsten…

Fiance has picked his, we just haven’t ordered it yet. The site we’re buying it from does free engraving and he can’t decide what he wants engraved in it haha.
It’s 7mm white gold, costs $469.

Haha, my Fiance lovessss his ring. He’s been had it on since I showed it to him Friday. I’ve explained to him that the men normally don’t that and they put it on at the wedding. He’s so cute becuase he just keeps it on. People noticed it right away and when they asked, oh did you get married? He said no, we are engaged. It’s so cute. Of course I don’t object, after all it makes him look offically off the market.

My FI’s ring was custom made by Etsy seller Sea Babe Jewelry. 🙂 Since it is custom made, thick, 8mm wide and solid 18k gold, it was very expensive (compared to what I usually see for a man’s band), $1800! My Fiance really wanted it though and he LOVES it! My rings are also 18k yellow gold, so they match well.
It has a really rough texture that I think will wear/age well.

Are there any bees whose hubbys have black wedding bands? My Fiance wants a black and white/silver/whatever one, but I’m just not sure.
