@MissBoston: I hate wedding planning too! It’s just too stressful for me and nothing seems to want to go together like I hoped it would.

I hate:

  1. the taste of coffee but love the smell
  2. clubbing/partying
  3. drinking at all
  4. shoes (I always wear a type of slipper)
  5. shopping
  6. wearing makeup

Oh, also reality TV, award shows, etc. Hate ’em! Blech!

Bars/clubs is another one.

And one I’ve seen mentioned on here is speeding/drunk driving. I don’t know if anyone really “likes” doing it, but I HATE it when people do it. It’s irresponsible & deadly. If you can’t abide by the rules of the road, DON’T DRIVE.

  1. Driving. I have no problem riding in the car with someone, but I hate to drive myself. But, I have to. I live alone, and I doubt the dog knows how.
  2. I hate social gatherings. I don’t like being surrounded by people in any setting. I almost died at my own high school graduation. But, I have social anxiety as well. Not really sure where it came from though.
  3. I hate being hot and/or sweating. I’m a big girl. It doesn’t take much for me to sweat, but I HATE it and I feel gross.
  4. Alabama. Period. The weather here is crap. It can be 90 degrees one day, 60 the next and then 110 the day after.
  5. Facebook games. Seriously? Who has that much time?
  6. Talking on the phone. I hate those awkward silences, or those people who WILL NOT let you get off the phone. You say “Bye” or “I’ve got to run” and they suddenly think of 400 things they need to tell you.
  7. Going out. I’d much rather stay at home all night or be at a friend’s house instead of going to a bar or to a party. I don’t really even like going out to eat.
  8. Shopping. I detest it. And yet because I’m a girl, I’m supposed to enjoy it. I do online shopping when I have to shop.
  9. Alone time. I don’t really like it. I hate being by myself, and yet I’m alone 5 out of 7 days a week. I don’t do anything the typical college student does.
  10. Staying up late. I hate it. I want to be in bed by 11 at the very latest, and I’m nearly 21 years old.

Eh. That’s all I can really think of right now. I saw several others that applied, but I didn’t feel like boring everyone with a really long list.

Strip/pole dancing classes (or the like) at bachelorette parties.  I’ve been to 4-5 parties that have done these in the past few years.  I guess they are kind of funny, but I just don’t get it.

@Amani: Oh my gd, I have wanted to take strip pole dancing classes forever. I think it would be a blast to do.

I agree with going to strip clubs are weird though not my thing.

@bohemianbailie: Burlesque dancing would be fun. I think its great that your cousin has that kind of confidence. It takes a special woman to do that!

The Twilight empire, and grown women losing their freaking minds over the books and movies.  I wanted to like it, but reading the book pained my soul.

Eating green beans – everyone else loves them, and I want to…I really do, but they gross me out to no end.

Summer – I am not a fan of hot weather at all, and oppressive heat just kills me.  One of my bosses LOVES summer, and all summer long will regale me with tales of how awesome heat is.

Facebook games – SO’s sister plays them ALL DAY LONG, and it drives me bonkers.

  • Chocolate.  I never crave it and only like it if it’s mixed with something else to dull the flavor.
  • Most sweets.
  • Summer.  It’s just too hot for me.
  • Shopping for myself.  I can spend hours shopping with my mom, until she starts finding things for me.  The fun is completely over at that point.
  • Talking on the phone or IMing online.

  • I’m not much for the club scene. Actually, it makes me ridiculously uncomfortable.
  • Anything with a chocolate/peanut butter combo. I like chocolate and I like peanut butter but put them together and it physically makes me ill. I know, I’m nuts!
  • Heat. I hate heat. Anything over 80 degrees and I’m one pissed off puppy.
  • Rap music. I’ll never understand how these rappers can make millions of dollars and have ZERO talent. They’re paid boat loads of cash to just scream obscenities. Don’t get it.
  • Flowers. I would prefer if people just didnt buy them for me. For starters, my cat eats them so I cant even display flowers in my home but also, they just die! Why would I spend money on something thats going to die in 3 days?

I’m sure theres more but thats all I can think of right now.

@UpstateCait:

Just in response to rap music. Not all rap music is screaming obscenities. In fact alot of it isn’t screaming at all. Rap is about teh cluture just as much about the music. Alot of rap actually is about real life issues, that these rappers have gone though. But if you aren’t listening to it, I suppose you would never know.

Camping – although I’ve never TRULY roughed it, I prefer to sleep in a nice warm bed, thank you very much.

Parties where you feel obligated to buy stuff (e.g. Tupperware, Candles, Norwex etc). If I want to buy those products I’ll go straight to the consultant.

Bridal/baby showers – they always seem so awkward to me and I don’t enjoy watching the person in honor open gift after gift and sometimes have to pretend to like it.  This is the main reason why I don’t want a shower.
