Are you on any current prescription medication (in general).

Try not to worry about anything right now, because those symptoms can be a variety of things. My advice to you is see your primary care physician, and possibly a neurologist.

Okay…first, did your thyroid hormones get tested? This can be a symptom of a thryoid imbalance.

Second, have you had an MRI? They usually do that to rule out Multiple Sclerosis.

Third, I would get an MRI because it also sounds that this could be the sign of a herniated cervical disc (in your neck.) The disc can protrude into the nerves and cause the symptoms.

It could be anything from a blood level they didn’t check thats imbalanced to meds that you are on, etc.

There are a lot of illnesses that have those symptoms ranging from MS to lyme disease to just compounded stress and anxiety.  I would see your GP and if he can’t help, ask for a referral to a neurologist and tell him it is serious enough because it’s affecting your work performance.  Until then, maybe do some relaxation and meditation exercises just in case it’s anxiety -since there isn’t much else you can do?  My Fiance gets tremors and has for about 10 years.  They have no idea why, he just does.  I get the numbness, but it’s a side effect of a medication I’m on.

 Good Luck!  Thinking of you!

I would definitely give your doctor a call and try to get in as soon as you can.  It sounds like something that may need a referral to a neurologist.  Those things can symptoms of MS, but they are also symptoms of many other disorders.  Keep us posted.  Good luck!

My best friend has these same symptoms and was diagnosed with MS, no family history. She takes a shot everday and is very healthy, she is having her first baby in two weeks

@OrchidsandCandles:  A close friend’s wife has MS with no family history.  I also have another friend currently being tested with no family history.  So it is possible.  Your eyesight changing so quickly is a concern too.  Numbness, tingling and eyesight changes are also symptoms of diabetes.  I’m not trying to scare you, but definitely get to your doctor soon.
