This has ABSOLUTELY NOTHING to do with weddings..but EVERYTHING to do with baseball.
Ok…in about 30 minutes send TONS of good luck/wishes/prayers out for a little team in North Georgia. My son’s team. They were underdogs going into the end of season tournament (for the county championship) having won only ONE game in regular season play. But these little guys have come from behind and are whipping the other teams..we’re headed back to the ballfield in 30 minutes and the game begins at 2:30 pm EST.
If we win, then we play again tonight, weather permitting (it’s lightly raining here and the field is good and muddy, which little boys love, from the downpours last night).
Go Central Park Gators go!!!!

I love me some baseball! Played softball competitively for about 10 years or so. I miss it. It’s also the only sport my Fiance and I have in common so we’re hoping we can *guide* our kids into playing baseball, too. Good luck! Kick some butt =]

Thanks so much KateMW and ejs4y8! That was so sweet to remember him..
We just got in. He played incredible..got 3 runs and pitched well..but sadly they lost by 2 points. To the team his old coach had this year..we’d been w/that coach for many years. My little fella was and is very sad, but right now he’s outside playing nerf gun wars with his friends.
What impressed me most about my little guy was after the game was over, despite his being super down and sad, he walked over to his old coach, told him "Great game coach Ed. You all did great. I hope you win in the final game". (there’s one game left with another team). We ended up 3rd.
But I’m so proud of how he is such a good sportsman. His character to me is what I’m most proud of. I love my little fella.
