I haven’t been to too many weddings, but for the prayer bench/blessing portion of the ceremony, I was planning on having a family member since a song. English/Spanish. What songs are normally used for this portion. Not having much luck looking online. Should it be something about prayer, about the relationship or what about a modern worship song? Any ideas would be helpful. I don’t want anything too complicated or fast where it would be hard for her to sing the spanish version of a verse. She isn’t fluent, but she does have experience singing spanish songs. Any suggestions?

One suggestion would be The Prayer (Celine Dion has a version). It has an Italian section, but not Spanish.
Sorry, I don’t know any Spanish songs but here are some more suggestions that might help…
Forever Young by Bob Dylan
Any old hymns – Be Thou My Vision, I Need Thee Every Hour, etc.
Beautiful by Phil Wickham
Because of Your Love by Phil Wickham

I absolutely love “Esto los Digo” – it’s a beautiful Spanish choral piece that quotes Mathew 18:20 (“Whereever two or more are gathered in my name there I will also be”). I think the song is in 4 parts, but she may be able to just sing the soprano melody. The song itself isn’t hard and the words are fairly easy. Just thought I’d suggest it.
