Hi everybody! I decided a long time ago that I wanted to walk down the aisle to Marry Me by Train. Every time I hear it I tear up with excitement about marrying my fiance. I guess I just always imagined the bridesmaids and me walking down to the same song. So that’s the only song that I planned for. Well… the wedding is now in 2 weeks and everybody keeps asking me what song everybody else is going to walk down the aisle to. I have no idea what to tell them.
Does anybody have any suggestions on what would work well with that? I also like God Bless the Broken Road by Rascall Flats, but I’m not sure if they sound good together.
I also want as much of Marry Me as possible to play, not just the first like 20 seconds. So I’m not sure how to handle that…

@bailey12: I say just play one song. It’s your wedding, your choice. I am only playing one song for the bridesmaids and my walk down the aisle.

@bmo88: Ok. I think that’s what I want to do. Do I need to come up with a song for grandparents, parents, and groomsmen to walk down the aisle to? I have no idea how long these things take, so I’m not sure.
My fiance loves the song You and I by Ingrid Michaelson. I wish I could use that, but the two songs are at very different speeds so I’m not sure it would sound good.

I could play his song during cake cutting. That sounds better. How long do you think I need music playing for people walking down the aisle? We are planning on:
My Other Grandparents

@bailey12: For your grandparents and Fiance, I would play “elevator style” music…something mellow, no words and calming. It isn’t really a procession, so no need for a dramatic effect. I think that would help.
