Well, ours was too long for the aisle and we had probably about a minute at the end to compose ourselves, take a deep breath, give each other’s hands a squeeze and enjoy that first moment of seeing each other. Didn’t feel awkward at all Smile

If you just slowly fade it out at the end, nobody will notice the song got cut short. They will be paying attention to you two, not the music. We had to do that and it worked out perfectly!

Our song is a bit long for our needs, too. We don’t have any bridal party at all, so it would just be me walking. There’s basically no song *that* short. 🙂   I think we’ve decided to add FI’s parents, and maybe each of our sisters, as “honor guest” types. At other wedding I’ve been too, grandparents also walked in the processional. And there’s always trimming the song a bit.

Is this recorded music? Edit it down.

Our entrance song for the reception was about 7+ minutes long. Our DJ edited it beautifully down to 2.5 minutes.  🙂

You can easily edit an MP3 with free editing software. We did that with our first dance.
