I used Jesu, Joy of Man’s Desiring for the Bridal Party.

I used “How Beautiful” (instrumental) for me coming down the aisle.

At the end of the ceremony I used “Alleluia Give the Glory”.  It’s an extremely upbeat song and really ended our ceremony on a festive note and everyone is still raving about it. (Of course, our musicians also totally rocked!)

I love posts about ceremony music!! I’m also doing Jesu, Joy of Man’s Desiring (organ) for the bridal party. Then I’m coming down to Parcell’s Trumpet Tune (organ)

during the mass – Psalm 118, You Are Mine (offering), On Eagle’s Wings (communion), Irish Blessing (reflection) and I can’t remember but I THINK Here I Am, Lord is somewhere in there…

And we’re leaving to I Danced in the Morning (aka Lord of the Dance) on organ which is so super fun and happy and is also my MOH’s favorite hymn…
