Hello bees! I’m seeking ideas for songs to walk down the aisle to. I was thinking instrumental version. Do you think something from a cartoon (Cinderella or Aladdin) will sound too childish and immature?
Can you share what your plans are? Which song did you chose for this special moment? Thanks!

Our Catholic church has a pianist that is willing to learn sheet music! My Future Sister-In-Law chose some Yanni songs….we are chosing Christina Perri “A thousand Years”
To answer your question, I recognize songs like THAT as soon as I hear the first part…if I heard a disney song I’d think it was cheesy…but again that’s just me!

I’m doing the instrumental version of Susan Boyle’s ‘Unchained Melody’. I’m having a hard time finding something that that would mesh well with it for the bridal party, though..

I think it would be just lovely to walk down the aisle to an instrumental version of a disney song! I’d cry. 😀
I walked down the aisle to the theme song (Portuguese Love Theme) from Love Actually, played by a string quartet. DH picked it, and he bawled like a baby!

I’m torn between having Christina Perri’s “A Thousand Years” as the song I walk down the aisle to or our first dance song.
ETA: Would it be weird for EVERYone to walk down to “A Thousand Years?” because I really want the entire song to play…

@Nanuli: I was thinking the first few bars where he wedding march starts plaing to have the mother of the bride with my brother who is an usher then when the secord ‘verse’ starts is when my brides maids will enter then on the last part where the wedding march tune comes in again is when i will walk in… I only have a short isle so i dont need too much music!
