I don’t think the source of the music matters at all, as long as it fits you two as a couple. We used “Concerning Hobbits” from the Lord of the Rings, and it was perfect. We couldn’t imagine a better song for us (although the very first notes were enough to start the waterworks for me). Honestly, looking back it is one of our favorite memories of the whole day.

My bridal party and I are walking to the Game of Thrones theme song. I’ll have to time it so that my entrance begins at specific point in the song and ends by the time I get to the alter. I’m pretty excited about this.

I want to walk down to Book of Love by Peter Gabriel but everyone thinks it is weird. Including my bf baha. I might mix it up and surprise him with an acoustic version of every rose has it’s thorn by poison or heaven bywarrant if I can find a good one of either – he is obsessed with 80s power ballads.

I walked down the aisle to Rainbow Connection. It was played on the guitar by two of the groomsmen. It was perfect even though it’s a “kid song.”

I am leaning towards I’m yours/over the rainbow by Straight No Chaser. I heard that song while listening to Pandora a few weeks ago.

We had an outdoor garden wedding and our attendants and I all walked down the aisle to “Across the Universe” on ukelele (instrumental). I thought it set a very nice mood for our style of wedding and we both love The Beatles.

Darling Husband walked to “i’ve just seen a face” by beatles

And I walked to “and I love her” by beatles.

The grandmothers, moms, and bridal party also walked to beatles songs such as “here, there, and everywhere” etc

A lot of people said they thought it was really cool.  I wish I could have seen it!  We did a fairly non-traditional wedding so I didn’t really want “here comes the bride”

My husband and the wedding party walked in to an accoustic guitar and mandolin playing Neil Young’s Heart of Gold. My parents and I walked into Somewhere Over the Rainbow. We got a TON of compliments on the music!

My all time favorite movie is Sleeping Beauty, so I walked down the isle to The Sleeping Beauty Waltz (piano version). You can always find instrumental versions of popular Disney songs. I say go for it!

Definitely bookmarking this for later. I didn’t think I was close enough to make these decisions yet but I saw another 4/6/13 bride in this thread who already has hers :/
I kind of like She Loves You by the Beatles, but I also saw a ton of other great suggestions here too. My aisle is pretty short, so I may have to go whole bridal party with one song too, not ideal but less choppy
