I am walking down the aisle to Natural Woman by Aretha Franklin. The words are so fitting.

Although my wedding is a year away (exactly a year) i’m leaning toward having my best friend and other friend play and sing the acoustic guitar version of Feel’s like home from Chantal Kreviazuk. It just explains how he makes me feel ๐Ÿ™‚

I’m thinking that the moms and grandparents will walk in to Fields of Gold by Sting, the bridesmaids will enter to Christina Perri’s A Thousand Years and I will be walking to Jose Gonzalez’ Heartbeats. Our first dance son is Hold You in My Arms by Ray Lamontagne.

My husband’s brother played the classic Pachelbel’s ‘Canon in D’ on his acoustic guitar. We got married in a small and intimate, vintage chapel. It made some of our guests tear up, and especially me ๐Ÿ™‚ My husband and I really love classical music, so it was very fitting and natural for us.

I used the good ole Cannon in D…..we were married in St Thomas and had a steel drum band and it sounds so pretty on the steel drums

(This is not my wedding but a link to Cannon in D on the steel drums)

I just can’t get enough of how pretty it sounds on the steel drums!

I walked down the aisle to Schubert’s Ave Maria.

The piece was played by a trumpet soloist and accompanied by a string quartet. I’ll always remember standing outside the church doors when I first heard the gorgeous music echo through – that’s the moment it hit me we were really getting married

I’ll be walking to “Turning Page” by Sleeping at Last. It’s the song that was played when Bella walked down the aisle in Breaking Dawn Part I. I edited to make it a little bit shorter, but I absolutely LOVE it.

Mine is a duet version of Irving Berlin’s “How Deep is the Ocean” from the stage musical version of White Christmas. Youtube is failing me, but trust me, it’s beautiful!

And now, after reading this thread, I think my girls will be entering to Eva Cassidy’s “Songbird.” Thanks Bees!!! Kiss
