hi bees 🙂
just wondering if someone is going/has gone through the same. I am on my 7th month and have been exhausted my whole pregancy.
All literature says it’s normal in the first trimester, but the whole pregnancy? I read advise saying to take a break and have a 10min nap. 10min nap???!!! I have had 4h naps!!! Luckily I didnt find a job and so i am able to rest but I feel terrible about it… My husband works so hard at his job 🙁 and im more tired than he is.
Doctor says blood tests are fine and i dont have gestational diabetes.
My mum keeps annoying me… I would like a little more energy. Really hope when baby is here, things are better. I know it is tiring, but at least there seems to be a valid and palpable reason for it.
Anyone understands what I mean? What did you do? Did it go away?
oh! Pregnancy exercise and yoga?!! I laugh at my crazy prepregnancy ideals!! Going to the supermarket makes me want to weep.

I was tired throughout my pregnancy. I mean, it was the WORST during the first 16weeks and then it sort of eased up until 30 weeks. During that time I could do more of my normal exercising (but I would have to go slower) but I still fell asleep 2 hours early every night. I wasn’t back to “normal” energy levels by any means. I felt tired the whole time, at least my energy level was never the same as pre-pregnancy until after delivery. Went back to normal after birth. I never had anemia or anything. This pregnancy I have also been tired (going to bed by 9 every night and napping if I can on weekends) but I am only 12weeks. Between MS and fatigue I quit working out around 7 weeks. Hopefully once it lifts I an workout again but I am expecting to have lower energy levels until after birth. It’s the worst part of pregnancy IMO. At least the MS usually goes away.

I’m in my 21st week and still exhausted. I don’t really foresee it going away at this point. Doctor said its just how your body is handling the hormones. I need 10 hours of sleep just to have a good, somewhat productive day! Anything less than that and my eyes burn all day, it’s crazy. I just make sure to take a walk every afternoon. Don’t feel bad, your body is doing a lot!

I’m 18w and still exhausted – nap in the afternoon (if I can), sleep at night 10 hours and still tired. It’s better than the 1st tri (where I fell asleep eating brunch at the table), but I haven’t gotten the amazing burst of energy in the 2nd tri that I was expecting. I keep telling myself, it’s what my body needs, so stop fighting it so much! (But, it’s really frustrating).

I’m in my 16th week and still exhausted. I’m glad to hear I’m not alone, but sad to hear it might not get better! It has improved a bit since the first tri, but I was hoping I’d be returning to daily exercise by now.

Yep I was tired most of my pregnancy. If I made it until 9:00 PM that was a victory haha.

I am 32 weeks and I am exhausted. I work 9am to 6pm in an office and come 2:30pm I am ready to fall asleep under my desk. I am absolutely useless. Thank God my maternity replacement has started. You are not alone I promise! Today I asked my boss if I could start finishing at 4pm – fingers crossed! Not holding out too much hope though…

37 weeks here: I don’t remember what it’s like to not be exhausted. My doc said you’ll either get better in the second trimester, or you won’t.

I’m 15 weeks, work full-time, and am sooo exhausted all the time. Was hoping the second trimester would be easier, but it hasn’t happened yet!
