@BoiledPNut:I really wasn’t explaining that right and couldn’t remember the proper details when I wrote that.  Just look at this website — explains how a chiropractor can adjust for TMJ.

Maybe that type of adjustment can help someone.  It’s something I researched when I was looking for help for my TMJ, but what the oral surgeon did ended up helping enough so I stopped exploring other options.

The only thing that helps with my tmj pain is a chiropracter.

maybe mine wasn’t that bad.. but i had TMJ from clenching my teeth in my sleep. basically i was having pain on the left side in my jaw and left ear. i thought it was my wisdom teeth (which need to come out at some point ::cry:: ) my dentist said it was TMJ and made a mouth guard that i wear on my bottom set of teeth at night and it feels a lot better.
