@ Mermaid1082 &   fraggle0312 I was thinking the same thing — “all these southern ladies and not one KKG?!?” LOL I wasn’t because I transfered in too late & missed the pledge class most of my friends were in but I lived in the KKG house in college. LOL

I was in Sigma Kappa at Michigan and my fiance was in Phi Psi. We don’t plan on having any greek specific events at the wedding, well besides binge drinking.

Pi Beta Phi here too! (Hi Ladies!) My future husband is a Tau Kappa Epsilon. I was really sad he proposed AFTER college so no candle passing ceremony for me… But it’s okay in hindsight 🙂 I still love him! As for traditions … for some reason my chapter’s song (i’m a Beta-Delta) is “Paradise by the Dashboard Lights” by Meatloaf. So i’ll definitely play that. Probably won’t do ring-ching… But it’s a cute idea. Maybe at the bridal shower or something?

I’m a Sigma Kappa (Delta Rho Chapter – James Madison University)!!  Fiance was a Sig Ep (sigma phi epsilon) at Penn State.  We’re not incorporating anything in our wedding, but a big portion of our guest list is made up of my sorority sisters and his frat brothers.

Alpha Phi Omega here.  My sorority sisters and I will dance to “Funk Soul Brothers” during the wedding reception as a surprise to my groom — the choreographed dance we presented when we were pledging =).  What can I say….we were in-love w/ Freddie Prinze Jr. back then.  =)

My fiance and I were dating when I was pledging back in college and he was always curious what “sexy things” us sorority chicks did.  He had this vision of us in our Victoria Secret night gowns and having pillow fights in our dorms.  Exactly!  Coz that’s what college girls do.  Never mind looking like nerds in our sweatpants while cramming for exams and papers in the library.

I’m a Sigma Kappa from the Eta chapter at Illinois Wesleyan. Unfortunately I didn’t finish school there so I’m not very close to any of my sisters anymore.

Another Alpha Phi here!

My (now) husband was not in a frat, but I had about 10 sisters at the wedding, and they serenaded me during the reception. I also had my “something blue” be forget-me-nots (one of our flowers) put on hairpins and I wore them in my hair. I loved it all!

AOE 🙂

Delta Zeta here! i haven’t talked about sorority or sorority life in awhile.  3 of my Bridesmaid or Best Man are my sorority sisters.   We do have such fond memories of it all.  I don’t think I’ll be incorporating anything, since it’s been awhile.  I always wanted to do a candle passing when I was in college though! Oh well.

any Taus out there? Alpha Sigma Tau, that is. One of my bridesmaids (and BFF!) is a sorority sister, but I don’t really talk to any of the girls from my pledge class. I did go to a wedding over the summer and there were about 10 of us and we all danced to our song and it was a blast. Fiance is a Lambda Chi from a rival school, lol.
