This is just kind of an announcement I guess. lol I don’t check my older posts, for instance, ones that I had posted a couple of months ago. I just now looked through them all and discovered that people still post on them and most recent being a couple of weeks ago. I feel bad for not responding, or responding late, but once my posts go beyond the first page, I generally don’t check them anymore because they become inactive. So, appologies for not repsonding and making anyone feel as though I was ignoring them, because I wasn’t at all trying to do so. But with how busy I am, I just don’t have the time to sit and look through page after page of posts to see if I have a new response. I wish Weddingbee would come up with a messaging system or alert type way of letting you know someone commented on your post. lol It would make things a whole lot easier!

It’s okay. I forget to check my older threads, too.

you can always subscribe to your own posts (or others’) if you want to be updated when someone comments on it

@elliestan: how do you do that? lol

@agirlwithdreams7: You click the link at the top of the post that says Subscribe to the Topic via Email. I think the emails don’t always work though. You can also check the threads you created by looking at your profile at the bottom.

yup, me too. maybe a suggestion would be if people are going to “respond” to a specific person in a post, that if it’s more than 24 hours since it was posted, they should probably just send a PM. otherwise, I doubt I would ever see it!

Nothing to be sorry about. I am guilty of this too :-/ I think 99% of the bees are.
@MrsSaltWaterTaffy: I have tried the subscribe button and the notifications never ever reach me.

Only if I’m REALLY bored will I go back and look through older posts. I’ve been on since Jan and have maybe done that twice.
But I subscribe to anything I want to remember to check. Sometimes I get the emails, sometimes I don’t, but on my profile it’s highlighted (I think?) if someone new has commented since I’ve been on the thread last, so that really helps.
