I think I managed to ruin my printer when I printed my invites! Garghhh. The envelopes didn’t do too well in it and I think there is still something stuck on one of the rollers as I keep on getting annoying marks on my print outs. And it’s not on any obvious roller as I’ve checked all of the ones I can access. Maybe it’s time to check the fuser. What a pain. Even more of a pain as I’m trying to print out my thesis to submit tomorrow. Grr…

Oh no, you poor thing! Printing envelopes was a nightmare was a nightmare for us, as well!
On another note, congrats on your thesis! I’m a day away from finishing grad school, too. And, if it comes down to it, you can always go elsewhere to print to avoid ugly marks. 🙂 Good luck!

Argh, why are printers nightmares?! I think I broke something in the process of trying to get the fuser out too. ****!!!
Ah well, means I should just leave it for now. Thanks for the congrats – I need to focus on something happy right now 🙂 Yeah for you nearly being done too!!

@froydis: Oh no! So sorry you have to be dealing with this. I hate printers. 🙂 I just finished my doctorate last May, so I totally feel your pain. Congratulations on a great milestone!

@pengoala: Thanks. I ended up bursting into tears – I think I’ve been under a lot of stress lately. It’s getting a bit too much! I’ve decided to switch everything off and watch a DVD. I at least managed to finish printing, never mind the marks. The thing is, these are just my post-viva corrections so they don’t need to be that amazing in terms of quality. I’ll probably ask a professional to print the final thing!!
Congratulations on finishing yours! It’s a big achievement and often, only those who have gone through it really understand the pain (emotional rollercoaster in my case…) it involves!
