@bbqueen989: I did also get this dress. It is nice to meet a dress twin. 🙂 I got it in the ivory though. I agree that it looks more yellowish than ivory but that works for my event and honestly looks really good with my skin tone. So none the less I don’t have a pic of it in the white. sorry.

I ordered the ivory too! The dress I tried on was ivory too. But on the site and other Maggie brides the ivory looks really yellowish. I really hope I didn’t try on a dirty diamond one dress. I don’t think I did. I think the diamond white is too white. It all depends on the completion on of skin. I wonder since that bride was extra tan, is that why the dress looks extra yellow. Go here and look at real brides in OUR dress http://www.sotteroandmidgley.com/midgleyBrides.aspx

Let me know what you think!

I also purchased gracie in ivory.  You are right, online the dress doesn’t look yellow at all, but the one i purchased is way more ivory than i thought it would be.

I know i already bugged a few of you about your “gracie” dress.  but would anyone be intersted in selling me their “optional” shoulder strap?  i’m mormon and need my dress to be modest, i.e. it needs sleves.  I’m desperately trying to find some extra shoulder straps so i can incorporate them into the sleeves.  i’m hoping the added ruffle will give the dress a more natural look than an obvious altered one.

@Hoggard2Bee: I think because of the fabric the white doesn’t look as white as some of the shiny dresses. I tried on the white one and thought it was something like a champagne, not a true white because compared to other whites it wasnt as stark.

What kind of veil are you girls wearing with the Gracie?  I think I am putting my Gracie order in soon, and I have been thinking about the veil, accessories, etc.

Hello Brides,

I am selling my Maggie Sottero Gracie dress (http://www.sotteroandmidgley.com/dress.aspx?style=JSM1334)  immediately after my wedding May 6, 2011. No alterations were done to this dress, as it fits my body perfectly. It is a size 8, Ivory. I am asking $1, 100 for the dress. It retails from $1, 500 – $1, 600. I will provide pics if needed. Seriously inquires only. It’s a beautiful dress, too beautiful to sit in the closet for years to come.

Let me know if you are interested!
