brabride: Thank you! My dress is in ivory! The white was jsut too “blue” hued for me, the ivory was much creamier and softer!

For all you other bees! Just had my first fitting and was hoping to get some input on this bustle 🙂 I really like how it looks, but I feel like the train is still a bit too long bustled and I’m worried about people stepping on it…  Any input?? Any suggestions?? 🙂

Looks beautiful, but I also think the bustle does look a little long.. I would be afraid of it being stepped on all night especially if you’re dancing! Could she bring it up a little higher?

MH827:  the ivory is truly such a gorgeous color.. its super subtle and not too creamy! the white looks very stark in comparison. you can see the difference between my ivory dress and his white dress shirt

MH827:  my dress just arrived. I can’t stop looking at this picture. I love it so much! I still have a few pounds to loose so that the dress will fit me perfect but I’m sure I can do it.

Hi ladies. You all look beautiful in your gown. How long did it take for your gown to come in?  I’m getting married in 6 months so if it’s not possible to get it on time I don’t want to try it on and fall in love if I can’t get it.

steph91:  thank you!!!! that looks great!!!!! Did it stay up all night? my sisters broke so I’m scared of that since my train is longer and more complicated than hers!

Dani1105:  yes it stayed the whole night! It’s still in the bustle in the dress bag haha. It was the perfect bustle!! A bit complicated with the buttons being clear and so tiny, they just looked like crystals on the dress! 🙂

steph91:  im definitely going to consider this… I love how it looks like a dress and not a bustle! I really like how that was done.. Hopefully the seamstress I am planning to work with can do it! How did they do both layers?

Dani1105:  to be honest I have NO idea haha!! My bridesmaid came with me to my final fitting to learn how to do it, and I know there was a tie of some sort inside the dress to pick up the bulk of the train underneath the dress (brought in and under up around the back of my thigh), and then the top layer was buttoned all along the points, it was quite complicated lol, I actually just took my dress out and the bustle is still holding it all up haha
