Sharamee seems to be more flattering to your figure. I love the detailing on it.

They both look the same to me.

Are you going to be wearing some kind of sheer sleeves with these dresses? I think that would “go” with the first dress more.
@Pinkmoon: yes i would have to add sleeves! thank you for pointing that out 🙂
Post # 7
The second one, I prefer the ruffles over the feathers(?)
I also think the 2nd dress would be easier to add sleeves too.
The first one! It looks a lot more flattering and lays perfectly on your body.

Hmm I don’t know. I picked the second one, but I feel you could find something more flattering… but I’m not sure.
Why did you white out your arms in the first photo?
@yanamari: I am Muslim and I wear the religious head scarf which also requires me to cover my arms . I’ll be adding sleeves to my wedding dress as well as a head piece to cover my hair . 🙂

@simiesue: ohh okay. ^_^
So are you set on one of these two?
@yanamari honestly I think I am , I’ve tried on atleast 40 dresses and I’ve come a long way . I don’t want a mermaid dress because I don’t feel flattering in it because I have a big butt haha . I don’t want an empire waist because since I am wearing a headscarf it looks kind of silly and makes me feel pudgy in a way. So the dropped waist was the perfect solution . It flatters my figure and enlongates my body and also compliments the head accessory .
I was doing the whole fit and flare thing for a while but realized I wanted a fuller and funner skirt because I’m a really perky person and I thought it fit my personality best . Plus it’s my wedding day and I wanna go all out !
My plan was to get lace matching the appliqués in the first dress and have sleeves made that are identical or atleast close to the bodice and have it work as like a jacket that I could pull over the dress .
For the second dress I have no exact plan yet . But I honestly think Im starting to sway towards the first one 🙂
did you have any ideas/recommendations??
@simiesue: I have no recommendations o_O I can’t remember anything… ever. haha. It all depends on how these dresses look on you. Hard for me to say. Did you try the Maggie Sottero Dynasty? I think it might have a similar sorta look?
Do you have any more pictures in these dresses? Different angles or anything? If you’re feeling a pull towards 1, you should probably just go with that one 😉

Hands Down, the first dress – its a little more unique than the second. It suits you very well… well they both do so I guess its down to personal taste. I love the skirt, the feathery feel and I like the way it hands from the bodice.
Go with 1!!
I think Sharmee is more flattering, even though they are very close dresses in comparison.
@simiesue: Honestly, I’m liking the first. Ususally I’m not a fan of the whispy bottoms, but this one is actually pretty fun! + I really like the belt better.
Maybe base your decison on how you want to be viewed? I see the first one as more sassy or sexy or spunky, whereas the second is a little more sweet and soft.
As for the sleeves, I would LOVE to see what you do with the first! I like the sheer white you have on in the second, but I read your comment about doing a lace applique which could also be gorgeous. Make sure you post your final look!!
