So I found my dream dress while looking at Pinterest, unfortunately for me it happend to be a discontinued dress!
At this point I searched for an alternative, but much to my dismay could not get this dress out of my head. I frantically searched for anyone selling the dress used, again to no avail. Finally i happend upon several websites that specialized in custom made wedding dresses. After many, many days of researching sites to NOT use I happend upon one that guaranteed the quality of thier dresses and also had many good reviews on several other sites including weddinbee. This dress maker site is http://www.jasminestailorshop.com/
Jasmine’s kept me involved during the entire dress making progress and sent me photos to make sure that everything was perfect before sewing on the lace, and then again before adding the final details and beading. Another benefit to having my dress custom made was I was also able to alter the dress a little to my taste, so I had them make the train removable so that I could take it off after the ceremony and not have to worry with it dragging or looking bunched up during my reception.
Here are a few photos after my dress was sewn but before the details were added:
And here are some photos of my finished dress with the final details:
My dress should be arriving in the next few weeks and I will then post pictures of me in the actual dress. Until then I am trying to wait patiently, although I can’t help but be excited.
