Omg, I was considering this dress.
Do you have pictures with the straps on?

Hey! The dress looks stunning on you! I also purchased this dress for my upcoming wedding! However, many of the details that make this dress unique you have decided to remove! I think it would really flatter you!

The dress was a bit snug in some areas and a big looser in other places, So it has been pulled in and tied in some areas. It is a size 12. I usually wear a size 8 (sometimes 10 to accommodate larger chest) .
I’m 5’1 and 150 pounds. I ordered a size 14 to fit my largest areas and the rest will be altered accordingly.
The only negative part of this dress is the sleeves that fit off the shoulder.
It’s a little bit hard to explain but its a scoop neckline and the sleeves are supposed to fit JUST off the shoulders, so you cannot raise your arms 100% up! The material does have some stretch in it, but it does need to be tightly fitted or else it would completely fall off your shoulders and look sloppy.
The details on the back of the dress are not visible in the pictures I posted because they have tied the dress to show me the full frontal look. Additionally, the bottom of the dress did not need to be altered (even though I’m 5’1, with my heels 5’3) because the tulle spreads outward and doesn’t bundle up underneath you. So you can definitely save on the costs of shortening the dress!
I will also be adding some crystals on the front of the dress, and some pearls along the side of the dress, just to add some sparkle and uniqueness.
This dress IS available at Kleinfelds in Toronto (at the Eaton Center, The Bay) however it does NOT show up on their online site.
Hope this helps!

juliaz thanks for posting. I would also be around 5’3. The dress you got that doesn’t need to be altered, is that petite size or regular size? Thanks

So I purchased this dress as well, but not sure what veil to get. What veil would go with this dress?
