@Sweet.Sugar.Rose: He is a rapper, not sure his 3 brain cells ran into each other enough to think it through. Have you ever listened to rap? Anyone and everyone can be offended by most of it because a lot of it is just vile. Are there some rappers who are great and have a serious talent? Yes. But for everyone of them there are 10 wanna-be-gangsters who have no musical ability or sense to not rap about drugs hookers and guns.

I hate most rappers.  Tyler the Creator is my biggest enemy right now.  One of his songs, (sorry if this offends anyone) is something like “I’m going to rape a pregnant bitch and tell my friends I had a threesome.”  WTF.

People need to stop idolizing these douchebags.

@Sweet.Sugar.Rose: He just won an award at the VMAs on MTV for Best New Artist.  He’s trash.  I hate that people love him.

@Sweet.Sugar.Rose: You give them a lot more credit than I do! ๐Ÿ˜‰ If someone spells “soldier” soulja, trust me, I don’t have a lot of faith in their intellect!

I listen to a lot of rap and really enjoy it. But… that song has so many issues with it. I don’t know why he would have even released it. First of all, its terrible. That sounds like a punk 15 year old wannabe rapper put his video on YouTube to get some notoriety. Not a well known rapper with previous hits. Second of all, what the hell was his publicist thinking, There had to have been like 15 people who heard that song before it was released to the public. Someone else couldn’t have told him that ALL OF AMERICA was going to be offended by those words?

His excuse, in the weak apology he made, was that his words got the best of him and he was trying to convey his feelings but they came out wrong. Shouldn’t that be why you revise your songs and not release them before they are public ready? I’m so confused at how anyone allowed this to become viral. It’s just poor management in all areas.

I stopped reading after “Soulja Boy says.” Nothing good ever happened after the words “Soulja Boy says.”

@MsBrooklynA: That’s what I said to my husband when we read the story.  Soulja Boy’s music has never been that great in my opinion but this is just dumb.  He shouldn’t have released this song but it probably went through so many people.  How did nobody think anything was wrong with the song?

@mandb122: People will do anything the “star” wants because the “star” is paying them.
