I can afford that kind of thing om my budget, so I’m doing it myself.

I think around 100-200 is the norm.  I managed to get my hair and make up for $65 all together and I feel pretty happy about it.  However, I am not going to have a trial because I am out of state so I am just sending pics of what I want.

I must be lucky, since am having the wedding back in my hometown.  The hair/make up from all the quotes I have gotten is only going to cost me $55. We will see when the time comes though.

@Sassygrn: $55!!?? is that for each (hair $55 + make up $55= $110) or for both? either way that’s AMAZING!! $55 is less than i pay just for a hair cut here=(

i haven’t had my trial yet, so i can’t say for sure what the total will be, depends if i like the first trial or if i decide to use another vendor. but the trial is $100, that’s the hair trial, not make up, and doesn’t involve extensions. she’s the least expensive hair/makeup i’ve found around here.

@MrsE.ToBe : $55 all together for hair and make up!  I know its a steal! Now if I did it where I actually live (Metro area of Minneapolis) It would be 200-300 for it, but since the wedding is in my hometown that is where I am getting done

I was pretty fortunate as well!  One of my bridesmaids is my hairstylist, so she did it for me as a gift.  My trial run and big day make-up by a professional from a nearby salon totalled $120.

@adw2c: will your bridal party or mom be using her as well? maybe if you have a group, you could work out a package. i feel you on everything adding up! it’s all these little things you don’t really think about at first that seem to add up so fast!
