I’m also from SA! My tablet kinda bugs out when I tried to answer the questions so just going to give a quick run down.

We are currently stuck on pause with plans and such sine Fiance decided to start studying again this year and me trying to graduate at the end of this year(I’m saying trying since this semester didn’t work out as well and I might be doing a few modules over next year)

But we know it will be either in April/August next year and we want to get married ontop of a rooftop in Pretoria near the union buidlings. Ceremony and reception both on the rooftop.

The honeymoon will be his ‘baby’ but I have been dropping hints for Mozambique.

We don’t see the need for Bridesmaid or Best Man and Groomsmen and we are thinking of nontraditionl cakes. ( Have always thought wedding cakes looked nice but tasted icky)

My colours will be White and green, with white/cream roses and green wheat grass and some undecided green flowers.

@Suikerbossie:  Thanks, my aunt (so to speak my mom) actually own some of the embasy houses and the one has a great roof, so saving a lot of costs regarding venue hire. I love it there but Mother-In-Law has more extravigant ideas like getting a lodge for the weekend and making a whole trip out of it.

I have a very specific picture and idea in mind and none of her ideas fit, so rooftop stays.

I was wondering about catering costs since I wont have a venue that has that option included, I’ve had some quotes from 80 bucks per person to 300 bucks..
