Any bees from SC? I’m really interested in SC but wondering what to expect weather-wise, what you have to do in Charleston, etc. Any advice a SC bee or SC-honeymooning bee could give me would be awesome!

I live in NC but went to College in Charleston. From what I remember, late september/early october is great weather wise. There is a lot to see and do in Charleston if you are a history buff and it really is just a beautiful city and they also have a lot of cute B&Bs…Not to mention there are some beaches close by. Isle of Palms is my favorite, although Folly Beach is nice but more collegey… Hope this helps a little…have fun!

My honey and I had a great vacation this summer with his family in Isle of Palms. His parents rented a huge house about 2 minutes from the beach and it was really nice. Isle of Palms is about 15-20 minutes from Charleston, and right on the coast, and there seemed to be a lot to do. We went into Charleston and took some of the tours, did a plantation tour, and even a late night ghost walking tour, which was fun. I had hoped to get to spend a day in Savannah, but we never got around to it. That’s about a 2 hour drive from Charleston. I think if you like history, and old southern charm, you’ll like Charleston. If you like the beach, Isle of Palms is great for relaxing.
