I think they look lovely together but think it boils down to whether you like it or if you think you will get annoyed by the gap? Lots of bees rock the gap and love the look. you could try some curved bands in and see what you prefer.

My opinion – they are not looking ridiculous, but….in some way – weird.

Sorry, if I miff you

I don’t mind them together but I feel like they should go the other way around with the wedding band at the bottom

Gaps in rings are quite a personal choice. Some people really love their gaps and other don’t. Personally I’m not a fan of gaps but I didn’t realise it until I’d bought a wedding ring that had gaps with my engagement ring. It took a couple of times of looking at it over a number of days to decide that gaps aren’t for me. I went for a custom band so it would sit flush.

I don’t mind gapped rings… With that said, I don’t like your gap. I don’t think that band does your ring any justice and the gap emphasizes that.

eisforlove:  Agree.

iscreamed:  I would pick a thinner half eternity band.  Your current band is too wide for your ering and the diamonds in it are not aligned with the diamonds in the ering’s band.

Robyn0214:  A fellow Robyn agrees!

I’d choose soemthing a little slimmer to keep your pretty Ering the focal point

I don’t mind gaps but in my opinion this wedding band is too thick. If you go with something a little thinner like 2.5-3mm it would compliment your ring so much better. These below look similar to the band your have but are thinner

The first is from bluenile.com and the second is from Debebians.com

iscreamed:  I personally hate the gap between wedding bands and erings (I am a little OCD though), but I know some people who swoon over it. It is all a personal preference. It only matters how you feel wearing it. 🙂

I have a small gap between mine so I don’t mind them but I think yours is too much. I think you need a more narrow wedding band, or get a curved one- and maybe wear it on the other side of the engagement ring? It looks odd to me.

I like gaps between wedding bands and e rings so I don’t think yours looks weird or bad.  I just think the wedding band itself is a bit too thick.  I can see it looking better with something a touch thinner but still thicker than the e ring.

Maybe consider a curved/contoured band. My rings have a little baby gap between them & I love it. 😊
