These are very cool.  The second ring with the meteorite in the center is gorgeous!

I thought you were going to say that last one was space lettuce!! 😀

I love this sort of thing, science is so fascinating.

neat! I just googled moldavite and there is some really gorgeous jewelry made with it.

@CakeyP:  it totally looks like lettuce! or coral. the pattern is so interesting. not at all like the crystals you often see in clear stones.

I like the idea of the ring with the moon fragment in it – perhaps with a different setting design though.   Imagine recieving it from a guy who always said he wanted to give you the moon 🙂

@starla:  I haven’t read through the comments. so I don’t know if anyone has already mentioned this– but moissanite is a space rock! I believe it was first discovered in a meteorite, but it also occurs deep within the earth.

I love moldavite. We sell a lot of moldavite jewelry. Ppl love space rocks. I have a pear cut moldavite that I want to put into a ring. Fiance wants a band with moldavite inlay for his ring.

My husband’s final wedding band that we will exchange at the celebration wedding will be meteorite and dinosaur inlaid with gold and titanium.
