    Nope--silver is softer so as long as you don't care about the silver you're good

    minimalistbride:  I think it depends largely on how and when you currently wear your rings, and how hard you are on them. If you don’t take them off and you are hard on your hands, I think you should have the same metal. If it were me, I would care most about the color of the metals, and whether they would be obvioulsy different. If they look pretty much the same, I would go with silver since I am usually very easy on my hands, and do more typing than anything else while my rings are on. When I am home and I am cleaning or doing dishes,  my rings are off anyway.

    I have a platinum e-ring and wedding band. I wear a sterling silver spacer in between, and I have not noticed any problems.

    minimalistbride:  You can also get 14k gold filled rings (tons on Etsy SUPER cheap). I had one a while back it was $11. Looked and felt great!
