Your spacer looks great!  I use a thin micro-pave band as a spacer between my low set solitaire e-ring and my shared prong band.

How do you know if you need a spacer?

georgiapeach11 :  It looks awesome you can barely tell it’s even there! Do you have pictures of the under side of your e ring?

I think it’s perfect! I used to wear a thin spacer between my shared prong band an engagement ring.  I’ve since moved the shared prong ring to my right hand and added a channel set ring.

vestedbee :  I just wanted to say I am in love with your set! Would you mind sharing your ring specs and finger size? Particularly the sizes of your gorgeous diamond band and engagement ring!

newbeegirl :  Thank you, Newbeegirl.  My finger size is 525-5.5, but the rings are sized larger (5.75-6.25 with sizing beads) to accommodate my chunky knuckle and finger swelling.  The e-ring is a 1.85 ct GIA ExExEx, G, VVS2 set low in a 1.8 mm white gold six prong setting with softened knife edge and softened prongs.  The setting isn’t custom, I just had a stock setting modified to thin out the band/soften the knife edge and minimize the prongs.  The shared prong band is a custom white gold, seven-stone @ .12 ct each 3.1 mm (.84 ctw) inspired by the Tiffany Embrace, but with no airline (to lower the profile) and with the prongs slightly more pinched.  I tried on a ton of different bands looking for the right size to compliment my e-ring without overwhelming it, yet still substantial enough to be worn alone and found that .12 ct diamonds / 3.1 mm was as large as I wanted to go.  The band I use as a spacer is about 1.8 mm platinum with micro-pave and I actually have two matching ones that I will sometimes stack with my e-ring when I wear my seven-stone band on my right hand.  HTH!

vestedbee :  that was all so helpful! I have a stand-in/alternative 6-prong Tiffany inspired ring and would eventually love to get a diamond band to wear with it but can never figure out what size stones look best. Thank you!!

I have a rose gold pave band that I wear in-between my engagement ring and wedding band!  It is 1.5 m and my engagement ring is 2 m.
