(Closed) Spanish ladies on the bee – 'Queso de Freir' during pregnancy

@luli29:  i think as long as its pastueruzed you’ll be fine. I love to eat goat cheese (chèvre) which is soft,  and my doc said it was fine as long as it was pasteurized.

Pasturized soft cheese is fine, it’s only unpasturized you have to worry about. (For hard cheese, it doesn’t matter if it’s pasturized or not.)

And if it’s heated, it doesn’t matter if it’s pasturized or not.

I’ve never heard of it being bad pregnant or not lol. I have it all the time even when i was pregnant 🙂

Well i can have it with pretty much anything. I eat it with fried plaintain chips or boiled plaintains  smashed with some shreeded cheese in there, or you can do it with mashed potatoes mixed with cheese and have your queso de freir on top. I fry that queso de freir i love it. What did you have it with?

Yum! Sounds ok and glad you enjoyed it! I’ve been craving pastelles SO bad this trimester but I know my body would reject them. 😉
