@Sunfire:  yeppers!! plus I always feel like shapewear moves my rolls and I have to be on guard for where they might appear!!!

If you can wear it and be comfortable though go for it – one of my BFs wears shapewear and always looks so great and solid, sometimes wish i could get past that. I wear thongs as it is so don’t usually have to worry, but the odd time there’s a hip line.

@Snow00774:  Oh, yeah, those moving rolls, lol!! LMAO.  I hate shapewear – I’ve never been able to tolerate it for more than thirty minutes, then I excuse myself to the restroom, peel that puppy off and throw it in the trash.  😉

@MrsNeutrino:  The smallest size creates “rolls” for me, and I’m a size 2/4.  But if you can tolerate it, go for it.

My alerations lady told me NOT to wear them.  It’s a corset back and pulls everything in on its own.  Now I’m just trying to figure out what I’ll wear for underward that won’t leave lines.  It’s in Florida in June- I don’t think comando will be a good idea. 😉

May I ask what kind of dresses you ladies worried about VPLs are wearing?  I only ask because VPLs are the ONE thing I hadn’t considered because I didn’t think I had to (my dress is pretty bulky so I don’t think anything will show).

MsNeutrino – Thanks for the tip!  I love Spanx! Wink

I love Spanx, but I DON’T love the ones that go up to your bra because they tend to roll down. My advice is to make sure you attach the top of the Spanx to your bra if you are wearing one (they usually come with little straps that wrap around your bra).

Definately give the Spanx a trial run by wearing them out for an evening to make sure they will not roll down and cause lumps.

This may be a dumb question but what is VPL?!
