I am wearing a dress that is very form fitting around the midsection. My goal is to lose weight for the wedding, but I also want to have a plan B. Any good recommendation for hiding a pop belly? I’ve heard mixed reviews about spanx. Some people love them, some say they roll down.
Thanks in advance!

I personally hated my Spanx. I decided I’m not wearing it for the wedding.
A lot of stores will let you try them on before buying them.

I have a pair and really hate them so there is no way I would feel comfortable with them.

This may be Too Much Information but spanx were multi-purpose for me. They have a “pee hole” which made bathroom going so much easier on my wedding day. My husband is used to me wearing them under dresses when we go to other weddings, but it was still kinda funny on our wedding night when he took off my dress, he just kinda chuckled! Definetly wear the spanx before your wedding so you get used to the feeling of being super sucked in.

I wear spanx every time I put on a dress. they roll if you don’t have them tugged high enough. I usually have to get someone to help me pull them up in the back with a good strong tug and then I’m good to go. It’s a personal preference, but I plan on doing both (lose weight and wear spanx) because I’m used to that feeling. I find the constricting feeling helps me not to over eat too.

Don’t go with spandex! If you really want to flatten your tummy, and get a tiny waist, get a corset. Something with boneing, that laces up the back. Spandex has no structure, a corset is shaped to put everything where it should go – and will make your waist super tiny.
